Statistics, or what are you smoking LJ Part I
Anyway, since I can never leave a topic alone until I get some satsfaction about it:
I put in a support question in about the statistics page:
I have no idea quite where to post this question, so I hope that I can have my question answered here.
On the statistical page, the total account numbers is 10,477,246. However, on the gender break down feature there are only 5,750,377 users accounted for (male, female, and undisclosed added togehter). This only accounts for 55% percent of the accounts. Is the other 45% of accounts communities and syndicated feeds? If not, what are the other millions of accounts made up of?
Mostly for the thought that, if the other 45% of journals are not personal journals, but are instead communites and syndicated feeds. But if that's so:
5,750,377 users who report any sort of gender (presumed personal journals)
4,726,869 users who do not report gender (preumed communites and syndicated feeds)
1,347,583 users 20 to 24
1,874,387 users 13 to 19
1,984,525 users 12 and less
---------------------------
5,206,495 users 24 and less
0,543,882 users 24 and greater
I sincerly hope that 45% of journals that do not report gender are not communites and syndicated feeds.
