twincityhackerI cheated and watched the last episode of the US version of Life on Mars. I sat though a few meh episodes, skipped the end, and... really, really liked it. Why could we not have "Life on Mars in 2035"? That little six minutes so filled me with science fiction glee is was so worth the previous episodes. The neural simulators! The reason why they were going! The tie ins between the hallucination and actual reality!
The only FAIL in the entire scene for me was the ridiculously short delay time between Mars and Earth. From here to the Moon is a delay of about two seconds - the delay would be measured in the minutes.
And, hey, they implied that little Sasha or Melia would be President in 2035. How neat is that?
