I have just realized the complete awesomeness of Rose coming back. Or the best thing about her coming back. Rose sees Jack, the person who she thought was dead. Jack sees Rose, the person he thought was dead and learned she is just on a parellel world. Because, yes, I do like seeing happy people on my television shows once and awhile. Unrelenting angst just gets really boring after a while, and I get enough of that in RL.

Fuck the Doctor's emo. I honestly don't care that it would wreck the meaning and drama of Doomsday. For one thing, so many people hated it when it first aired that the only redeaming feature was that Rose finally left.

Another is that it really, really shouldn't because it's not exactly the first time that a charecter left "forever" and then came back in Doctor Who. Wasn't Mel's death faked during Trial of a Time Lord? And do you really think the Master is really dead?

I think it would be a good thing if Rose came back, and the Doctor used the opportunity to properly move on. For them both to move on, and for the Doctor to work on his bigger issues. And work on bringing Gaifrey back.

Too funny that this is just now hitting us! At the same time, too.
