Desktop backgrounds can be an indication of a person's state of mind, mood, sense of humor, or other indicate-able things as well. Your desktop! Show us it! And tell us why you chose/like/dislike/tolerate it. Even if it isn't yours.
Here's what you do: Minimize all your windows and press the 'PrtSc' or PrintScreen button on your keyboard. Then open up Paint or your favorite graphics program, and paste it. (Ctrl-V is the shortcut in Windows.) Resize as necessary, and block out whatever you don't feel like sharing, but be brave and let your f-list see what you use as a background! Then upload the image, link/post the image in your journal, along with this text. Whoever sees this should do the same. Pass it on!

Background about Background: It's a slightly cut down version of A Prison Scene by Fransico Goya. I swap between that and Vista del Toledo by El Greco - which is probably my favorite painting ever. The paintings are from a unit I did in High School about the great Hispanic painters. Which was about the only thing that stuck!
And if you look really close, you'll notice that half the pictures on my desktop are of John Barrowman...
