Because I'm here

twincityhackerNearly fell asleep in drivers training today. And got my permit yesterday. One week to go, with six drives. So tomarrow will be my very first time operating a motor vechical. But I'm not eager to get my real permit either. Even now it's more "I should get it now" than anything. And even then it's for the Wisconsin trip, which is a production in it's self. But I should first explain.
The wisconsin trip is part of the BIG SUMMER VACATION. First, we drive up from Jasper to Altoona. I have yet to figure out what the HELL we're doing there, but we're going. That's the imporannt bit. Heck, we might even go to Minniapolis, just because it's there. I have to take a picture of the Now Leaving Minnasota" sign anyway.
Then we go in the oppsite direction to go to Indiapolis for my Mom's Passporter meet. Passporter is a guidebook series, and Mom's heavily into them for their disney series. If she wanted to, she could plan vacations. My sister keeps saying she wants to try to set her up in the vacation planing busniess.
And after that, we're going to massachucets to vist almost all my relatives. Yep, every summer I go the the family compound in Worcester, and I say this literaly: my grandmother lives there in the summer (but maybe not this summer because Gramie is renting out her part of the house this summer to my uncle's sister-in-law's family), and most of the family can gather around her in a drop of a hat. My family isn't big, but it's a lot if you aren't used to it.
And my other side of the family, aka my mother's people live in the next town over in Shrewsburry. Well, my grandparents do, and my aunt, uncle, and cousin come over for supper a lot.
And then we come home so I can make elephant ears for the Optminist Club (affilated with my service group) for Strassentfest.
