Had "group bonding time" with the floormates then the people who live at my hall. There is, in fact, 35 girls on my floor and while the floor is supposed to be computers and computing community, it's more like they just took the people who signed up for that and people who signed up late for housing, as they're overbooked.

Anyway, after the floor meeting there was a ice cream social for the hall, then we moved into the lounge for a game night. I won a game of twister after one person quit and another got pushed over. Then I joined a group of people playing Taboo, and after a game of that we just passed a catchphrase player around in the circle for an hour and a half. I astounded them a couple of times with guessing the right answer to "He's a dancer" (Fred Astaire) and "he design's clothing (Georgio Armani) I'm good at trvia games. = ) And during the drawing I won a DVD of Mars Attacks.

And, a scary meme thing.

What fics have you written with imaginary audiences in mind? Why?
Not that many, to tell the truth. Most slash fics have the general audience of "mst3k slashers" 50 Sentences (About Two Lonely People) is titled towards the Joike 'shippers. (Specificaly [livejournal.com profile] solidfoamsoul and [livejournal.com profile] mythrilmercury is Then the majorty of fics after that is just prompt writing. Unles its a speic idea that I toss out and someone says that it should be written. (Later Years of the Twentith Century was for [livejournal.com profile] solidfoamsoul, I belive.) Again, there's Blue Skies Below, whih is for everyone who watched the 2006 US State of the Union Adress, MST3K fan or not.

-What's a group that's been your imaginary audience?
*waves at [livejournal.com profile] mst3kslash*

-Who's a person who's been your imaginary audience?
Who hasn't is a better question. If I've met them though the MST3K fandom I've at least tried a fic idea that would appeal to them. Except for [livejournal.com profile] purplesyringes, as I don't think I'v really come up with a particualr idea that would really appeal to her. And posibley [livejournal.com profile] commanderteddog, except for all the times I've completely failed at writting Magic Voice. I can't remember the tittle, but I had a fic or to for [livejournal.com profile] mistieforlife.

-Is there a particular person or group who is often your imaginary audience, and if so, who are they?
It's essentialy the same group over and over again. Execept I've been also trying - and failing - to write a slash fic that would be good enough to get onto the MST3K Fanfiction Page. In other words, [livejournal.com profile] slwatson.

-Who's that person who's fb you often or always think about when you write, and against your better judgment and confidence in yourself, feel kinda vindicated when you get?

Uhm. [livejournal.com profile] slwatson and [livejournal.com profile] violetisblue. 'Cause, I read their fics over and over when I was still lurking about the MST3K fandom, and they made a big impression on me and my fic writting. They still do. Though when anyone reviews I'm happy.

-Who's your imagined unaudience? Who have you hoped would never read what you've written? Besides your mom and that skeevy guy you saw once at Wal-Mart who followed you for a full ten minutes and got some of his guano on your shoe, are there sometimes people on lj who you hope might skip on by such and such fic? Ever write something knowing so and so will dislike it, and hope they don't read it and think less of your writing for it?

MST3K fans that don't like fic. Actually, MST3K fans that don't belive in plot.

The short of it? I write for mostly the people I know though mst3k fandom and myself. Though not have to explain why I see the potential for fic in MST3K to other fanfic writers would be completely awesome.

Catchphrase, eh? Our group can get pretty wild when we play that. Although Amanda tends to bring us down. . . she basically sucks.

But the rest of us? Violence has ensued.

I think what ket it from being an unfriendly game was that we were all a bit too tired to not play for points. And half the tie you couldn't hear the person across the circle trying to describe the word.

I think you're gonna love college and dorm life. There's so much more freedom. Yes, there are some sucky parts, and you might get the neighbor from hell (sophomore year for me, judicial affairs got involved) but there's much more positive than negative.

Still don't have an internet connection (using a public lab now), so until I get everything straight, my fanfics are at a significantly lower priority on the scale.

So far I really like living here, and that's not something that I've felt for the last three years. I'm a bit apprehensive about classes, and the oddites of the bursar bill but that's really it. And I'll be thrilled when they finish up the construction around campus.
