Now, the drama here is this: there is no real drama. I just keep seeing the damm drama because of the tiny fact that there's, what, three fic archives that are still being updated - plus a smattering of personal archives - and slwatson is one of the main mods for the MST3K fanfiction page and I do the MST3K Slash Page and The MST3K Fanfiction Archive. We also happen to have completely fundementaly oppisite viewpoints on just about everything besides that we both like MST3K and there should be way more fic written about it. And that Mike made a better host than Joel, but they're better together. (By together, I mean that YAY! They're both having wacky hijinks! and not the slash. DEFINANTLY not the slash. 'Cause Gun!Toating!Mike shall shoot me!)

Where was I? Drama. So, the other part of this is that there's no mst3k fanart places either. Sure, there's Deviant Art, but that's just kinda hellish to navigate.

And then there's mst3k. Oh, it's wonderful, happy place - I just have no idea if you can post fic and fanart there. And yes, this is probably the most rediculas thing ever, but I've never really seen people post things there. Heck. the only fic mention I've seen ever was the one I made recing Snakes on a Satellite. They're been multiple mentions of Push the Button, Frank! and that's really it on the fanart side that I can recall besides some stuff from Something Awful.



What brought this on is thefamilar asking if she can post some fanart of Gypsy in the Yahoo! Group. I'm all for it, but I just keep thinking that it's a slash group - but there's no where I can tell her that I know will accept fanart. So I'm stuck, and waiting for one of the other mods to weigh in. Both would be wonderful though.

Though I would have just labled it Gypsy/Magic Voice, myself. = )

mst3k allows for at least discussion of fanfic. Some members are very anti-fic, though. Fan art seems to be fine.

Nuts to this. I'm founding mst3kfancrap or something either now or when I return from Toronto tomorrow. There needs to be some uniting place for MiSTings, fics and pics.

I started a Comm called Fics in the MST or whatever, and never got around to doing anything with it. With a little help, I can make it into something we can post fics, art and whatever on!

Sadly, even though you never promoted it, I should have found it. I found it sometime this morning when I was looking for people with the intrest of "Cambot."

Like all the Forever Knight/MST3K crossovers, there was no reason I should have found them except for weeks trolling google for mst3k fanfics.
