Me and dad just got back from our litte bonding time on the various roads of Illinois and Wisconsin and Indiania. Yes, we did stop everyonce and awhile, but 75% of the trip was just driving. I got to drive a lot. Days of driving. And I got to dirve in bumper to bumper traffic in Madison, WI even though my parents don't trust me to drive around in town. Go Figure.
So we went to vist Alyissia in Madison and walked around downtown. Fun larks insused in the Wisconsin State Museaum which was only slightly warmer than Antartica. we also went to House on the Rock with her the next day.
She described it as the love child between Walt Disney World and a museaum. And on the way back to Madsion we stoped and had some of the best french fries I have ever had.
Then we moseyed on up to the Wisconsin Dells. We went on the Ducks, tried to go on a time share tour twice (the first time dad founf out that you had to have the
husbend and wife together for the tour, and the second time that he had done this type of thing before and it ruined his whole day.) for the nifty encentives. Then it was Ripley's Belive it or Not! and some shoping (fudge and a belt from the store that only sold men's geniune leather belts.)
Then for the very first time, I went canoeing. Even though my body still hurts in various places, it was a pleasent experince. Then home.
With a breif stop at the closed Lincon log cabin park and a fruit stand with fresh fruits and vegtables (some of them were even grown in the area!) and buttter made of every fruit conceivable.
