We had a nice time with the reltives yesterday. We get along with these guys more in person that we do otherwise.
My aunt and uncle are big time fandom folks. Curently they'rer planing on going to Worldcon and Dragoncon, and my aunt is writing this novela in the Secret Adventures of Jules Verne. But first the story of my mom and her encounters with fanfiction, more specficaly: my aunt Bonnie's.
My Aunt Bonnie and mother finaly got they email systems straight so my aunt emailed my mom a link to the yahoo groups where she can find her stories. So we made a dummy account because I couldn't go into one of them in my account because it was a adult group... but first she pulls up the lower rated one.
She's still talking about it. It's hard to know what my mom thinks about it, but I have a feeling that she's okay with it, but she should be doing somthing else with her time. The whole excersise. was pointless because we never saw the source material so we had no idea what my aunt was talking about. But thankfuly we never opened the higher rated one.
And now for the meme of the year.
You are a WRDF--Wacky Rational Destructive Follower. This makes you a hacker. Your thirst for knowledge can be damaging to your possessions--you like to take things apart, even if you then forget to put them back together. You demand respect and, no matter how much you are respected, seldom feel it is adequate. You are tenacious, and will stick to a task long after weaker minds have given it up.
Socially, you are awkward, and get into arguments and make people uncomfortable. One recommends counting to ten, holding back comments unless warranted, and listening more than speaking. Still, your no-holds-barred approach to socialization can be strangely endearing, as long as you are funny and self-deprecating.
You feel misunderstood, and you probably are.
