So I'm back for orientation.
I'm never going to get those days of my life back.
Mostly, we were herded to places to listen to things we already knew. Or to have "group time to answer questions" that no one really wanted either. Or that presentation from the "What If... Theatre" to do one skit diversity and another two rape at parties after the girl had gotten drunk. This time, instead of upsetting it was all just very... dull? I've had at least six diffrent lectures on the topic of rape, and they said the exact same thing, with only minor variation being the "where to go" portion. And the amount of emphisis they put on date rape, and the amount of drugs they rattle off. But the diversity one started out okay and just turned stupid. Both the skit and audience plummeted to the depths of stupidity right after White Boy said that he didn't want to fake being Jewish since his grandfather was in the KKK.
The only good thing I really got out of it was that a road show of "The Producers" is coming to the IUB audiotorium for a few days in October, and if I voulenter to be an usher I can see all the shows they put on for free.
I also registered for classes, and I don't think I've screwed anything up on that front.
and prequite to a statistics course.
Introduction to Ethics, because I need an ethics class for my major too.
Only one class is being taken against my adivsors advice, the for fun lingustics analysis, because I want to see if I like learning about the subject before jumping into it (that's what the non-western languages was for). Though he doesn't seem like the usless sacks I had for guidence counlers the last three years.
