Did you hear a thousand voices online suddenly cry out in agony?

Well, if you did, you already know that part of the MST3K Chronicals is up.

Read and weep, guys. *evil laugh*

And I've got a word count for the series: 102,758 words. Scary. It's intresting to note that the first book is about 39 percent of the body of work.

Now, on to book two! Oh, how I dislike book two...

OMG. This is the first MST3K fic I ever read. I was wondering what became of it... ^^

Technoservo's MST3K Shrine went bust last year. It was a sad, sad day in the MST3K fanfiction commmunity - if just for the fact that a couple of fics went down with the place.

This was the first fic you read? Are you sure? I could have sworn the MST3K Fanfiction page is/was higher up in the rankings than that site. Hm.

Of course, my first fic by a strange quirk of fate was It Happened One Day on the SOL, so I'm not one to talk.

Yep. Pretty sure. ^^; I was obsessed w/ Sailor Saturn at the time waaay back in the year of oh-one/oh-twoish. So, I do a little search and "Wow! People write MST3K fics? Gimmie some of dat!" Didn't the bots become human in one? (Abrupt Change in Subject!)

I still heart Hotaru. ^_^

Yeah, the 'bots become human at the end of book three.

It's also possibley the first vauge mentions of a Forrester/Joel thing, whether it was a partnership or who knows what between the cat-spaceship and Cambot's coloring. Actually, I don't think Joel built/coded Cambot at all, but that's something that I still have to put up yet.

The link is fixed.

I this does not mean I still don't want to flay Yahoo! and roast on a stick for supper just for all the stupid crap that's been going on with the site the last few days.

Hey, it's the archivist nature in me. Besides, I'm sure that only good can come of it. If people like it, they have another story to read, and if they don't, they have an example of how not to write.

Plus, some of it is okay. Like the scene in book six where the 'bots stumble upon Battlebots is good. And where they note that , yes, they are infact risking life and limb for an utterly absurd reason - then decide to do it anyway?
