I totaly forgot that my grandparent's compuer has a AOL account on it. Since we instalded it last summer so me and my mom wouldn't suffer from internet withdrawl, I can't remember why we would forget it.
But the whole system is very jurry-rigged. The nearest telephone jack is in the next room, so we have a really long cord streaching from the dining room (where I am right now) to the next room. The problem is that it's a little too short so it's a little hard going under it for my grandparents.
And I was extremly put out that there was a earthquake near Chicago and I wasn't there to experience. But the funny thing was is that we were listening to a disaster preparedness program put together by a insurence agency while we were driving to Indiapolis to catch our plane, and one of the things they talked about were Midwest earthquakes. And how we were due for another one and that you can feel it a lot further away than a Califonia earthquake. Which you evedently can because they felt the thing in Misouri, so my grandfather said (the segment that I saw was a guy losing a joke with his wife because she put earthquake insurence on thier home).
And to push a fanfiction. I know that only one person that reads this will be able to read the story because it's in a group, so this is mostly useless. But "Steps Though Time" by Michele on the mst3k_slash group at yahoo rocks. Of course, since it's the first new mst3k fanfiction I've read for monthes I'm a wee bit biased. But "Steps Though Time" is still really good.
Now I have to go because the portit of some great-great reltive is freaking me out.
