Last day of summer. I have no desire to go to school tomorrow, which I guess is odd because I usualy love going back to school.

180 more days until the end of my public education.

Maybe that's why.

And if this is supposed to be "the best years of my life" does the rest of life suck that badly, or all those people nostagic for a time that didn't exist?

I agree with commanderteddog, high school sucks. Can't say anything about college, but high school does suck. I, however, am reluctant to see it end, if only because I've been doing it for the last 12 years and am highly anti-change (because most change sucks). But after this whole referendum crap I won't be sad as I thought I would a few years ago.

I'm not a big fan of radical change either, and that's one of the few reasons why I'm going to be sad to leave Jasper.

Yes, I will be sad to leave Japser. Who knew?

But I don't really think that high school sucks. I like most of the teachers, even if I don't like most of the student body. And I like most of the courses, even though the mandatory parts of the curriculium occasionaly bite.

It could suck worse, I'll give it that. And it's not so much that school itself sucks, just the stuff that's happened while I was in high school suck lots.

And I agree; 95% of the teachers are great. The student body. . . 95% of them suck. The courses are OK (though sophomore year was extremely boring 'cept for Japanese), but really, really gets me is the stupid administration making stupid decisions and the like. I won't be missing them, to say the least.
