Mar. 3rd, 2008 12:41 pmI've been listening to a steady diet of BBC Radio 4, mostly at night because I've been using it to drown out dorm sounds, and I can see why people tend to burn US flags when they're pissed about something. There's few programs that don't regularly mention the US. Example, Russia elects a new president. Guess who they call for an opinion!
...I'm usually listening to it at midnight, so it's World Service, Shipping Forecast, Faming Today, Today - after that I better be asleep because it's about 2 AM by then. I like picturing the weather in the Shipping Forecast, and Farming Today is deeply comforting. Cattle farmers are cattle farmers all over, whether it's New York, Wisconsin, or Kent. Though there is less problems of TB in US, I have to admit.
