Apr. 3rd, 2009 10:13 pmSomething for aviator fans, Jack fans, and especially
laurab1.
little_details's has a post comparing a Sopwith Camel with a Spitfire and a youtube video of the two planes side by side.
It's fascinating to see how fast aviation technology jumped from the WWI to WWII. The Sopwith Camel is panting with exertion trying to keep up with the Spitfire that is about to stall out of the sky.

Dec. 4th, 2008 10:23 pmI just have to say that I ♥ threading? I'm working on my sociolinguistic project with a group of people, and when I click on the latest email in gmail it threads the rest of the email on the topic with it?
It seems silly, but it's really, really nice since the email chain is up to 15 messages right now.
I'd be even more happy if the rest of my team had their data in - seriously, I'm Miss Procrastination 2008, and I was the first one to have everything in! - but it's ridiculous to have any hope at all for a team project to be done before it's down to the wire.
EDIT: Also, changed layout.
msp_hacker. Katie, who plays Morgana in Merlin. Quote from Cole Porter song, obvs. = P
