It starts as a fun question, but degerates into a OUTSOURCING IS EVIL! rant

To make me feel loved, I signed up for a spam survey thing awhile ago, and I just got done filling out one. And one of the questions stumped me. When takeing a survey, a stumper question should not occur, but it did. The question was "What gender is the head of your household?"

I just said "Don't Know" and continued clicking away. But it's irritating that I don't know the answer.



I suppose its my father, but I've lived with just Mom* too much just to say that Dad runs the show. And I don't know if they share things equally, since it's been my policy to avoid prolonged contact with my mother: if I'm not around her a lot, can I get yelled at or blamed for things that I had no hand in? Not as much.

*Not that my partents were ever seperated in the kicked out of the house sense for more than a day, but since people are crap and have been outsourcing manufacturing for the last twenty years, we kept getting moved around because you don't need a manufacturing enginer when you don't have any factories, do you?

Because it's so much cheeper to have factories in Slovakia than in the US, and it's cheeper to have factories in the middle of nowhere than than a city, which is why Jasper, IN still has factories in the US and not just Poland and Mexico and Thailand, and assembly lines in China. Because people suck, and it's always about the bottom fucking line instead of the people that you fuck over while doing it.

For that question, I'd say my Mom, hands down. For you, probably your Mom by just a little, but then again I don't think I would count as an authority on your family...

Thats a little odd of a question to get stuck on, I never really consider who is head of a household... And what kind of question is that? Shouldn't some big grumpy rights group said "That question sucks, get rid of it"?

Hey, Chicago is only a six hour drive and five and a half if you can bribe the mole people to dig a tunnel.

I outsource the deep tunneling, because you just can't get that deep from anyone in the US that's not insane.

fyi: head of household refers to the person who makes the most money. it's an odd phrase that's very out of date, but that's what they mean.
