The Hunt for Magic Voice

I have come to a not-so-startling conclusion.

There are no Magic Voice fanfics out there.Zero

She's mentioned in a few fics, Joel 1/2, MST3K Chronicals, and A Bridge Over Troubled Waters. Magic Voice's biggest role is actually in the MSTing of Sometimes by Megane 6.7. In that there's a touching songfic romance between her and Cambot.

After I looked for fanfics, I stumbled across a chat log with Mary Jo Pehl and Bill Corrbett, who said that the epiode that they just rectently shot had Magic Voice in it. I'm almost postive the episode was Parts: the Clonus Horror

Then I went to the MST3K info page, looking at the Brain's sci-fi channel episoide guide. Nothing. Looked at the Ward E there to find either the converation between Magic Voice and the narrator in The Atomic Brain or one of the above mentioned sci-fi era appearences, but again I turned up nothing.

Back to the regular internet for a episode guide, in hopes of finding magic voice apperances. I found out that after the third season Magic Voice was voiced by Mary Jo Pehl, and that Magic Voice made two apperances in the Sci-Fi era, one of them in The Deadly Bees. And there's a few random bits with Magic Voice, ussualy doing the comercial sign, in some mstings. That's it.

Right now, I'm considering entering a plea to the MST3K community here to ask for help finding anything related to Magic Voice.

And if you have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm trying to find infomation on a charecter that's a around for a little less than ten years, but is really never noticed.

Me likes computer characters, so me likes Magic Voice. And yes, I am willing to bet she's a computer on the SOL. Way back in the day (1983), Commodore released a voice synthesiser for their computers called The Commodore Magic Voice Speech Module, or just "Magic Voice" for short. Nifty, no?

Anywho, I was going to include her in my forever unfinished crossover, but since that's forever unfinished, here's the bulk of my understanding of her:
- Magic Voice is female.
- She's probably the voice of the SOL's computer systems (see above comment)
- She's fairly well-spoken and eloquent.
- Like Tom, she can sense when the commerial/movie breaks are.
- Her voice changes a lot between seasons.

As for scenes in MST3K with her that stand out, there's the scene in The Atomic Brain for one. I can rip you an MP3 of the conversation from The Atomic Brain, if it's any help to you. It's all audio anyway. In Fire Maidens of Outer Space, when Timmy first appears and attacks Cambot she says "Who are you?! What are you doing here?! Keep away! Cambot, look out!". In The Unearthly, she's gone missing because, as Crow puts it, she's sulking in her trailer. And umm... I'm told she explains about how Tom and Crow are moving something... or something like that... I can't recall what the episode was.

Now, I seem to recall a MiSTing series, years ago, that heavily featured Magic Voice. The plot had an evil Mike forcing Pearl, Gypsy, Magic Voice and some other female characters to watch movies. Did you manage to find that one? ::goes to scan newsgroups::
