Jan. 3rd, 2005 05:33 pmI'm missing quite a few teeth, seven to be exact. Four molars, two wisdom, and a bicuspid. The first six don't matter so much, but the big thing about the bicuspid is that they have to do somthing so the bicuspid that it's paired with doesn't grow down and mkes it immposible to eat.
This means I have to get a bridge in a few days, and there has been much discussion on what kind of bridge to get: the permenant kind or the removable bridge. The permenant bridge they have to grind down the two teeth on other side to put on caps. The removable one slips over the teeth.
I'm sorta leaning towards the removable one, because if it doesn't work out later on I could have the option of just a implanted fake tooth.
Just a few months ago I had the last of my baby teeth pulled, and now I'm having a brdge put it. Time just flys by, doesn't it?

Date: 2005-01-03 10:27 pm (UTC)My mom's having dental issues of her own. They replaced her old bridge last month, and this month, she's got an abscessed tooth. They're gonna need to do more work on it. In the meantime, it's fun to mess with Mom while she's hyped up on codeine. :D
