puttering around the house

twincityhackerYesterday I mostly sulked and played "Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga." Which was a really good purchase, as since it was such a mind sink that I lost track of time - because if I knew what time it was, I thought about what I should have been doing at the factory.
I feel a lot better today. It helped that what woke me in the morning was a phone call from Manpower about a new assignment. I'll be going to the office at 9:30 AM, and see where it goes from there.
It's been storming on and off for the last few days, but since Mom has some plants on the porch, I went to water those. I also checked the other plants. The tomatoes are chugging right along, with everything from buds to flowers to a somewhat sizeable green tomato. I don't know when it will actually ripen because it's neither on the grape or beefsteak. But between on all five, we'll have three diffrent sizes and three diffrent colors with red, orange, and purple. One of the lilies on the front walk had to be re-planted as it's fell over, and I took pictures on the flowers on the lily that is in bloom.
Also, the cats look like they came out of a Salvador Dali painting. When Kizmet isn't half scaring me out of my mind because the racket he makes caused me to belive that there was another human shaped person in the house. Adding in the numerous escape attempts Kizmet has made today, I am not very happy with him at the moment.
