I went out today. First, I went to the library to pick up "Superman Returns" because I've been on a DC Comics sans comic binge. Cartoons, movies, fic, and a few comic book scans.

Of course, instead I almost walked out with "Jazz" by Ken Burns. But I persisted because the Superman craving could not be denied. I also picked up "Gay Pinoners," about pre-Stonewall protests by gay/lesbian advocates. Like, four years before, but still pre-Stonewall.

I then got brunch, where I was was continually watched by an Australian exchange student. Since people have commented before on how oddly I eat - I eat each thing in order, going from least liked to most liked food and finishing each dish before moving on to the next - that I considered it Harmless and just got on with eating.

While I was walking out the Quad to go back and watch a movie, I read there was an Q&A with the Dean of Students, so I went to that. The majority of the time it was mostly discussion about alchoal, which is pointless and even more boring from it's pointlessnes of it. Apparently I'm among those 10% of college students that don't drink, though there were aspirations cast upon my brethren and sistren about how they occasionally leave the library and have lives. There was this and that, mostly stuff I either knew - the economy is down the tubes, and since the state government changed the property-tax rules there's no money for anything - or didn't care about, like the drinking things. But I did find out that the master planners are soliciting student advice on where the campus should go, architurely-wise. But there was root beer, so at least I got a free drink out of it.

Except my Superman craving was denied, because none of my DVD drives would play the film. I even tried a wax pencil to see if I could get rid of the skips. But in the library, it played, so I'm guessing that my DVD drive in my laptop is a bit crap. It did play "Gay Pinoners" though, so it's not completely broken. I'll review it when I watch it.

But when I returned the films to the library, I was able to pick up "Jazz."

And then I watched some "Justice Leauge" and did Earth Hour. I may have ended it a little early because at the end I decided this sitting in the complete dark was getting a bit old.

I used to eat like you do when I was younger and usually still finish off the thing I like least on my plate first.

Did you ever watch "Superman Returns?" I thought it was pretty good myself.

Yes, I did. I ended up watching it in the media viewing area of the library, to see whether it was the DVD that was messed up or my DVD player. Plus, I've seen "Superman Returns" a few times. It's one of the few films I saw twice in the theaters, to boot.

I might have skipped quite a few of the Lex Luthor scenes this time, though. After I started mouthing, "Blah, Blah, Blah, Bitch, Bitch, Bitch." his stuff started getting cut.
