That was... really, really long. Not a good sign, as last weeks premier had a higher minute count.

Things did pick up in the last ten minutes or so, and the weirdness of the characters in the first half paid off then.

Except Maya and Alejandro, who continually freak out the general populace. Apparently Maya's brain-explode-y power is where she weaps black blood, and makes you weep with her. Alejandro sings a song and restores Maya, and those who may have been damaged are restored as well if it's not too late - twins balancing out each other for the win!

And, Peter is in with the Irish mob - and as Anglia was almost knocked-off, the rest of the Petrilis aren't doing too hot either. Though Nathan definitely didn't kill Kaito.

Speaking of Petrilis, fucked up, Claire can cut off body parts and regrow them and she knows that she's beeing stalked. Yay for self-awareness!

The Haitian returned!

"Where's the Haitian?"
"In Haiti?"
"We're in Haiti"

Memory-loss Mohinder might be better than Time-breaking Hiro

I'm not really sure if I care much about Peter's story... even though he is the man with 100 abilities. Ok, more like 10.... but still.

And when I heard about painting collecting I got sort of *squee*-ish because Hiro would be all for it. It's very... generic anime "gotta get all the special items!"

It's a tough call, really. I think Hiro wins just because you can enjoy the same situation over and over without feeling like scum over having Mohindir's mind wiped over and over.

The best reason for Peter's story is to sit back and let the family angst wash over you. Carthis though scifi, you know?

True, sometimes a little family drama isn't a bad thing... though Nathan needs to shave. Or die. Strangely I don't care which, just as long as he stops looking so homeless. Boo hoo you think your brother is dead and your mommy's life is in danger... it only takes like a minute to do a day!

Mohinder seems good-natured about being put into crap situations though. I mean he figured out Sylar was road-tripping with him, and that curing Molly would bring about trouble for others (though it was Sylar-time, not "stop the bad company" time)

And I thought he'd know who the haitian was when he saw him.

Though Hiro is also pretty happy-go-lucky, even at the worst of times.

Though I'm dying to learn who this nightmare-man is, though I figure he's also the Company-killer.
