"Al-Hamdulillia" does not quite cover it

twincityhackerStill really don't want to do Arabic work. Oh, wait, I can't do it - I don't have the right disk.
Though I did have my first test today in Arabic. It went well, until I hit the part with the dialogue, then I was fucked. Then the professor read the words out loud because he realized that we didn't actually know the characters that made up the words yet, and it was a little better. And then he realized that we learned the colloquial forms instead of the formal forms, and then it got a little better!
So instead of "entirely fucked" it turned out to be "oh my god why" which is a pretty big step up!
