Uhm. The manuscript I sent to the lecturer was crap. Mostly for the fact that I (a) was hating humanity at that point and (b) couldn't make my advocation relevant without descending into a bitchfest or paranoid rambling.

Yeah. Right now I'm leaning towards "anti-smoking ban" for I can find things to cite other than radio hosts/presenters whose essays share something similar to my own viewpoint. Because apparently we need pictures plus words to manipulate convince our audience.

But I've only got three more weeks of actual "going to class" so I think this is all partly END SCHOOL YEAR END. Which just brings the "attempting to find summer employment" which has gone to a fantastically bad start that three groups has refused to hire me.

Well, it seems I'm the only one to vote. I went with the anti-smoking ban because. . . you said you were leaning towards it XD Besides, I find politics eternally boring. . .

Chatty about teh Smokes

Seattle got the "ABSOLUTELY no smoking in bars/restraunts/retail(duh), and none within 25 feet of a door or intake." I miss drinking/smoking at a bar (bless them if they have a patio), but I do smoke less (good-natured grumble of approval) and can still smoke in my home...so whatever. In the long run...probably better. Smoking is icky, but I'm kind of an icky person. ^_^

Now, the banning of smoking in public, including just walking down the street (I don't remember every little detail) kind of makes me cringe. That's where it really starts to get into the "invasion of personal freedom" space. I don't need to go into that defensive of a stance if I can't smoke in a restraunt, I can dig not wanting smoke-smell with one's food, but my goodness, all of outdoors? When do they just start hauling 'em all in for rehabilitation? (NO, I'm not godwinning myself, I didn't say any "H" or "N" words! ^^)
