The Lonely Shag

Goal: Watch the entire 28th season of Doctor Who. From "New Earth" to "Doomsday" in order before season 29 starts.
Okay, everything but "School Reunion" as I need to watch some Third Doctor first.
This should be interesting, as before when I was watching the episodes at random, about every other one I watched the Doctor Who when he was someone other than Nine was either committing genocide.
I've also watched only... six episodes with other Doctors than Nine. "The Unearthly Child," "The Edge of Destruction," "The Remembrance of the Daleks," "Army of Ghosts," "Doomsday," and "The Runaway Bride."
In "The Unearthly Child" has the Doctor almost killing a defenseless man, in both "The Remembrance of the Daleks" and "The Runaway Bride" the Doctor commits genocide, and in "Doomsday" he condemns the Cyberman and most of the Daleks to spend eternity in the Void.
From an human perspective - except in The Unearthly Child - he was right to do these things, but I'm not surprised that he picked up the moniker The Lonely God, as the power to smite a species or throw them into hell you usually reserve for divinities.
And can anyone rec me a episode that I should watch?
