One Short Day in the Emerald City

twincityhackerI've just signed up to do a Torchwood/Wizard of Oz crossover. This is either going to be a horror or a fun.
Now I just have to decide on how I'm going to cross the two, exactly. I have a few scenes in mind, but it's getting there from A to B and exactly where it's set in Oz (and whether or not there is small detours to the surrounding fairy countries and whether or not it takes place in Oz cannon before or after "Small Worlds."
Because, oddly enough, the fairy countries in the "Wizard of Oz" and the "faries" in Torchwood match up pretty well.
...and yes, I redid my livejournal in an somewhat Oz-y theme a week before I even saw this challenge. At least there's no poppies.
