Someone stated earlier that the recent weather was a monsoon. Upon looking at the definition of the word monsoon, I am exeremly irritated by this as we are no where's near a body of water that one could say a moonson came from.

Though I did learn the neatest word today, but I can't remember what the exact spelling is. Pelivian? It starts with a "p" and means something along the lines of "raining in a biblical fashion, for forty days and forty nights sort of thing."
