I keep going from "Yay! I'm going to college!" to "I'm going to fail out and end up selling beads on the street in Greece!" to just about everything in between. And the parts of me that are not consumed with drama is very amused with the whole situation.

I think the only thing left to do is to pack up the computer - I'm going to do that tonight - and a few other odds and ends like choose the pillow I'm taking.

Yes, chosing the proper pillow is important. The pillows that came with the rest of the beding are new and therefore not right and somewhat scary. So I'm going to take the pillows from the bed, as for me the older the thing is the better it is for sleeping. Like people are always going on about new mattresses, but the one I like best is the one on my bed that's almost twice as old as I am. I guess they don't make mattresses like they used to. = )

My old mattress was nearly three times my age, and I loved it. Though after a certain point, part of me worried that the springs would pop through and poke me.

That's what matrress pads are for, aren't they? To keep the springs from vicously coming out at the wrong moment and pokeing you. = )
