Sep. 5th, 2005 08:34 pmSpent a few hours today wandering though a corn maze in Ireland this afternoon, that had a interesting theme.
See, the farmers just didn't put a regualr winding path though the extremly dry corn, but had given it a Indiana theme by placing markers representing diffrent cities in Indiana (Evansville, Gary, Fort Wayne, Bloomington, ect.) and factoids about argiculture in the State and corn. Like the most important crop in Indiana is tomatos, not corn.
Even though the State is awash is corn fields. I myself am located about a half mile, though our first few weeks in Jasper, the neighbor across the street was a corn field. Now it's a block of apartment housing.
