I never said it was a GOOD plot.
Jan. 25th, 2005 06:35 pmWhile reading "You Just Missed Her" over at the MST3K fanfiction page, a werid little fic idea popped into my skull.
See, in Experiment 1013 everyone parts ways: Mike, Servo, Crow, and presumably Cambot have an apartment on the busline in Millwauki, WI; Proff. Bobo got a job at a zoo; Observer got somthing on a planet a couple of light years away; and Pearl recived a position of dictator for life of Quatar.
Quatar. As in one of the staging areas for "Operation Iraqi Freedom?" And since Pearl pretty much inspires terror and obedince from her underlings, it wouldn't be too far of a streech to think she was still in power four years later. And since having the US in the region would threaten her dominance, she wouldn't let the US in there. And for the purposes of the fic, Kuawit.
So the US has no staging area for own little war, and Pearl gets angry that we even try to go against her, so she makes it that the US does not go to war in Iraqi. This could either be that she manuplates world poltics or she could call in a favor with Observer to get him to keep transporting top officals until someone with some sense gets the presidency. Pearl continues to plot world domination.
And history goes on without the war in Iraq. Now how would that time line go?
