Whooo! Olympics!
Aug. 13th, 2004 10:49 pmEven though I'm usualy against sports, I really like the olympics. YOu can find me dancing around the televison rooting for whom ever. Like the other day I was watching soccar. I hate soccar. I hated beeing forced to play it. But I was watching it and having a great time.
So the opening ceromony? Good. Could have done with the stupid commentary, most of it which was in very poor taste. And you think that NBC could pony up the cash to air the ceromony commercail free instead of the bad cutting job that they did.
The statuary monatge and the history of Greece was cool. The people who were dressed as startuary looked more like statues of people than people, which was the whole idea.
They kinda lost me with the DNA montage. I think it was trying to unite individauly with common heritige... I don't know.
