My sister got offered the job in Madison, WI.  She starts on the 15th of July.  YAY!  She didn't really like working at the Goodwill.

 I managed to catch my friend orange on Yahoo!  yesteryday/today.  I probably didn't make too much sense at 2 AM, but it was nice talking to him.

And on a much more serious note, commanderteddog's father passed away yesterday.  If you happen to be of a religous persuasion, please keep her family in your prayers.

Now I have to go pack for Massachussts.  But first: an MST3K icon. 

for the mst3k_icons.  Someone asked for this scene, and I just happened to have that particuar episiode.  Not as good as I would like it, but I think it's serviceable.

I found a story today by Clare, and was very, very happy.  Clare used to run a site called "The Lost Temple of Ishida" that sucumed to the evil of free webspace limitations.  The thing was huge, and she kept having to move it because either the site went payment only... or was that Puppetmisstriss?... or the server was extremly unrelible. I recall it had something to do with crosswinds.

When I first found it, I was kinda sad.  It had been msted. The just the fact the story had been msted didn't bother me like it did with Pokemon MASTER, but the fact that the story was a parody and the fact that the mster was treating it like a straight up fic... okay, maybe I'm a touch bitter it was msted. And that they implied Clare would work with Dr. F. 

But when they thought Clare was a he... that was funny.  And the thought that Izzy could kidnap Fluffy the tokomon...

So I dumped the msting parts and saved the story.  After I finished reading the msting of course.  The mster had a few good points, but some of the comments didn't make sense when taken into context.

One of them was that the charecteristions were way off because she had never seen 02 so it was all speculation.  They charecters said she must have never turned on the tv.  But since the story was written during the summer when they just started airing 02 in Japan, and they had just given out the dub names and the stats.  Plus Clare lives/lived in the UK which ment that they got the show even later than the US so it really made sense that she hadn't seen the show.  Not to mention all the 02 non-love going on.

I'm bitter about Pokemon MASTER for another reason.  It was the one of the very first epics I ever read and that I waited a extremly long time for it to be finished.  The last part took a year to post.  Infact, the only story I followed longer is "Child of the Night". 

And if some one msts that, even if it's Megane 6.7...  well, maybe not Megane 6.7 since he has the Satelite of Hate... I'll still be very upset.  But the fact that "Child of the Night" is 86 parts and counting, I kinda doubt that. 

...I've comptely lost my train of thought.  Right!  Msting of old favortie stories.  In this case good because I got to arcive it, but usualy bad for the liker of the story.  At least for me anyway.
