I have the the magazine!

Only on the first trip I found that I had forgotten my wallet when I was paying for magazine, so I had to trek back. When I realized when I was pulling out my keys for the door that I didn't have my student ID anymore.

So while I has a John Barrowman interview, I cannot has food from cafeteria. = (

But even though I read all the interview and even made a layout of one of the photos, why didn't anyone say that the one with John and the pool is part of a photo story? The Jack quote actually has context! The story is about vampires in LA, being swank and luring their victims in then draining them of blood and tossing them into pools. All the quotes come from "The Secrets of Summer" by Bret Easton Ellis - except the final Jack quote, natch.

In other words: the world needs a story about Torchwood and classic vampires, preferably starting in a rooftop pool in the middle of Cardiff - or if the Welsh are far too sensible for that sort of thing, London.

You know, speaking as a Londoner - we don't really go in for rooftop pools! I mean, seriously, have you SEEN the British weather? I think there are a few about, but there aren't all that many when compared to LA. :)

(hmm, there's one at the Berkeley Hotel, but don't look at me - I have bunnies enough of my own and am about to flee the country for two months....)

I know that there was at least one rooftop pool in London by osmosis, and that there had to be others for the reason that there had to be hundreds of hotels in London and at least a few of them were created by builders with more money than sense.

Cardiff has less hotels, so I figured the builders had less chances to strike the lottery of rooftop pools.

( I just looked at the Berkley hotel. I'm sorely tempted just to dump bodies in their pool just to spite them. I have no idea what to do afterwords, though, hence the plea... )

Oddly enough, I'll be walking past the Berkeley tomorrow (I work just down the road and wander along that way if I'm going into town)....

Well, it's TW. If there's stuff going on involving a rooftop pool, the odds are good that at some point there'll be a large bang and all that water will drop through at least several floors of five-star hotel.... ;)
