IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!

I just spent the last ten minutes reading on the prosodic morphology of semitic languages - mostly Arabic.

Now, that normally wouldn't be important but I finally understand how one can have part of the name of God but not all of it and how one can leave out the vowels in a written language with it still making sense. Cross-cultural bonding for the win!

I find myself jealous of your linquistics classes. I'm in math right now, and I'm working on an IT degree. Words are so much better, IMO.

Words are way better than math. That's why for my IT degree I'm taking a linguistics cognate instead of the far more helpful math or computer science add-on.
