Dec. 28th, 2006 10:47 pmI'm making up a list of fandom-y things I should do this year, and a big part of that is usually exploring others fandoms. So, rec me some book or show!
So far I'm working on:
Things that I'm not watching
So far I'm working on:
- 1776 - The Musical
- I saw this in 5th grade, and my class loved it. (We did the table clap thing at the end, at least) but I've been looking at the clips and the vids of it on youtube and it looks good. Plus, Musical!
- The Gun Seller by Hugh Laurie
- Spy novel. Comedic spy novel. The fact that Hugh Laurie wrote it
everythingnothing to do with it. Well, I wouldn't have heard of it if he hadden't, but that's all.
- Spy novel. Comedic spy novel. The fact that Hugh Laurie wrote it
- More Wodehouse
- Blandings Castle and so on, and not just Jeeves and Wooster, as I read The Plot That Thickens and it was awesome. I might even try the golf books.
- Black Books
- Because it's... hysteical? I like my absudist humor greatly.
- Studio Sixty on the Sunset Strip
- Wasn't going to watch it, but I caught the Christmas episode and liked it greatly.
Things that I'm not watching
- Battlestar Galatica
- The camera work. I hate the camera work. I watched it for a few mintues the other day and I nearly through the romote at the televison.

I especially recommend the Jeremy Brett series. Hmm, do you like 80s shows with explosions and action? Because I've also been pimping Airwolf. I recently got back into that show and I can't stop watching. *points to icon* (For note, he's not actually a pirate.)
