twincityhacker: hands in an overcoat's pockets (father ted)

I got my school registration packet today, and I have to go back next Tuesday to hand in the forms and pay my book rental fee.

I moved last year, so I'm somewhat used to the antics, like being nickel and dimed to death.  Or more like, ten and twenty dollars to death.

Or how they except you to follow a dress code and they don't tell you what dress code they have.  (Here it's against the values and and morals of the communtiy to wear shorts.  Never mind the shorts cover more than most of the skirts the girls are wearing.)   Or they don't let me have credit for half the classes they offer, and only have seven class periods to boot!

Today, the antics where: misslabing everything so it took three times as long to find everything and my schedual.

One problem was that they told me I was in the advanced US history/English class, then told me I wasn't.  The other thing was they have me down for a class I already took at my old school.  Anything that involves transfering credit to diffrent schools is a iffy business at best.  Which is my my Dad is kinda worried about Jasper's answer to AP classes. (Well, they do have one AP class, and it's Calculus.  I would take it if I could understand mathamatics.)

Insaid of AP clases, you have an option of taking the "advanced" class, where you can get credit for the local community collage which you can then transfer to the collage of your choice (which I'm hoping also transfers to collages outside of Indiana.)
