The only problem with "Yes to the Dress" is that the show ends before you see how everything turns out. The last episode we watched had a South Asian bride looking for a red dress, because red is the wedding color in India and white is what you wear to funerals. Everyone was getting frustrated because there are few dresses that come in red at her $2000 dollar price range, though when the bride bumped the budget up to $5000 a series of events got her the perfect dress.

The fitter pulled out a dress, and the bride was showing off to her wedding party when a designer walked in and hit the roof. Though she did her venomous complaining on the far side of the nearly warehouse-sized room. The dress the bride was wearing, the designer claimed, was clearly a knock-off of her designs, and she would not have that. The fiter and manager said that the bride wanted a dress by that designer, but it was out of her budget.

So the designer met with the bride, talked to her a bit, then went back to where her dresses were and picked out a $6000ish dress and said she'd do this in burgundy, but without the pearls, for $5000.

So everyone went away happy! Except for the viewers who didn't get to see the dress in burgundy. Something similar happened to the same-sex couple who wanted to get matching pantsuits. One woman was happily situated with a ball gown coupled with a jacket, and the other woman ended up with a sketch because they had very few pantsuits and no pantsuits in the woman's size. We didn't get to see the final suit either.

But everyone who bought a dress in the end looked lovely in it. Though at the prices people were buying dresses for, I'd start looking at custom dresses as they almost look cheaper.
