msp_hacker. The only tenuous connection between Cole Porter and Japanese culture was that they were really big in the 20's and 30's.
Lyrics are from "Anything Goes" or at least a version of it found here. The lyrics are the same for the first two stanzas, and then vears off into uncharted territory about modern politics and the Great Depression: ( I guess anything really goes... )
