1. "Modernism" and "Fundelmentalism" in religion.
2. The idea that the Northeast is a horrible, vile, moraly corrupt place
3. The rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer
4. Increased hatred towards immigrants
5. International, monoplisitc companies
6. Erroding of civil rights
7. Psuedoscientific basis for national policies
8. Good in spirt but completely useless in practice legislation
9. The entrencing of the very rich of the Republican Party (Roosevelt is still turning in his grave about this)
10. The Democratic party complete unwillingness to critizeve some of the electorate to help other parts of the electorate
Yes, I'm still reading these tombs (as in the grave) of histories of the Progressive era. And they're still rotting my brain.
But I did finally find out was the "Woobies" aka the IWW stands for: Industrial Workers of the World. They were the union voted most likey to be caught up in a riot in the Progressive era.
