And because of Agatha, I smell of garlic
Mar. 2nd, 2006 09:07 pmNo one wants to learn lighting. That makes me sad, since it's the best tech job. You get to see the show every night in the enterity, plus you get to hear what's the snitch on headset.
So, since I'm completlty not myself around the theatre people, the spastic job of keeping an eye on everything is a good job for me since I can't concentrate on anything when we're in production. Plus I can keep the entire show's lighting cues in my head except for when they dump on the spectetcle with light changes every fifteen seconds. Unfortuantly, no one thinks it's the job for them since watching and listening to what's going on stage, plus what's going on headset, and reading the script doesn't intrest them.
In other words, while the sound technition has an apprentice, I do not. Looks like I am going to have to kidnap one of the freshmen or sophmores off of stage crew.
