I actually went places with sea breazes!
Aug. 11th, 2005 01:17 pmThe day before yesterday was v. cool. Gramie, Uncle Andy, Billy, and I went up to Hampton Beach to see my non-evil Aunt Mary, Uncle Terry, Cousins Emma, Charlie, and Peter, and semi-relitives Nana, her husbend, and Mary Jane.
Semi-relitives are closely realated to your relitves, but not to you. In this particular case, they're Mary's husbend's parents and niece. Or that's what I call them at least.
We all went to the beach, being that it was warm and sunny, and we we about 50 feet away. I did my normal thing of going in the water for a absudrly little amount of time... about 20 mintues... and sit on the beach being really cold. If I had realized a little earlier that the damp t-shirt I was wearing was keeping me cold, I might have gone back in. But I didn't, so I didn't. I had a lovely time anywey.
And I got to see what Mary called "Billy putting the moves on Mary Jane" from a distance, which I count as a good thing. = )
Oh! And I got to talk games with Billy, who want to do the exact same thing as Christine! Wacky, huh?
Moving on to the considerably less amusing time in Boston. I say considerably less, because a great deal of time was spent with the evil Aunt Mary. I say, "evil," because she's a mean old woman who doesn't have time for anybody but herself. The first thing she did when she saw my sister was insult her, and my sister is the only person who really gave Aunt Mary the time of day.
Basicly? I don't like her.
Linda, Mom, and I went into Cambrige, and then from there into Boston, to see my sister's new apartment. And it's really nice, with a big kitchen and a cat that she can spoil but doesn't need to pay the vet bills for. After we saw her apartment, we went to Legal Seafood, which was very good. And I got to gross out my mother by eating things with tentacles. = )
But I finaly got a good night's sleep last night, so it's all good.
