Apr. 3rd, 2005 06:40 amToday happens to be one of my favorite days of the year: the begining of daylight savings time.
Whyso? Well, I happen to live in one of those particular regions of Indiana that does not observe daylight savings time. I'm not sure why, but I have the feeling that it's because Indiana is on the very western edge of the eastern time zone, so in a compromise we don't observe daylight savings time so we spend half the year synced up to the time in New York City and half the year synced up with Chicago.
And just why is this cool, besides the fact that I'm synced up with Wisconsin? All the television shows are on their central times, which is much more user friendly than the eastern format.
