I'm not sick, but I'm not well...
Jan. 6th, 2005 05:50 pmNote to sister: thank you for giving me a HORIBLELY addictive song for Christmas. It's so bad I can't spell!
Okay, that's the nitus oxide talking. I think. I got back from the dentist a little while ago, after everything was running late, like I was supposed to be numbed an a half hour before they started numbing me. But since it took two minutes before getting tosted on the nitous oxide, it went pretty quickly. And I got a anestic spray before the novicane so it was even more okay.
So I just chilled as they ground down two of my teeth listening to some NPR, which comes from Urbana, IL so it's kinda staticy, and they were talking about a rule change that the republicans are pushing for about lowering the amount of votes it takes to stop a filibuster, and how the rules effect the daily legistlation of congress in the diffrent houses... it was nifity, yeah.
I was a touch concred when I looked down one time and my apron thing was covered in blood, but they told me it waas just my gums and it was normal. And I didn't choke on the molds! The little paste thing for the molds of my teeth, one time, where taken when I was in a reclining position and I started coughing and it turned out that it was slipping down my thought! Yeah, that was the crazy, make her permenant retainer before she loses all her baby teeth guy that needs to be bitten badly.
Now I have asprin, and antibiotics, and a salt water rinse which seems to be the dentists cure all, he recomends the rinse instead of flossing every night, and two shiney aluminum caps that won't disolve unless I happen to swolow mercury, and I doubt that I'll be downing the chemistry themometers anytime soon, because when was the last time you saw any mercury lying about?
Speacking of shiney, for my Chemistry final yesterday, which happened yesterday instead of last year because of the snow days and not monday because the school distict is on crack and gave us this insane schedual the last few days where we went to some classes mulitple times and others not any on the same day. So in chemistry, which we already took the day before finals started last year, did "the most dangous lab she was going to let us do" since we where boiling acid and puting in zinc so we could cover pennies with silver and then bunish them to brass. Ours didn't come out like I hoped, but they look silver. We didn't get to burnish them because it took too long to turn them silver. But our acid zinc mixture turned solid when it cooled, so I think we boild it too much. And it turned a bright yellow color.
This tomato soup is really good.
