Has anyone tried the Beta Navigation Bar? I'm using it the momment, and while I'm not impressed, I'm not disgusted either.
I don't care for the option where there are multilple strips. I see the idea behind seperating the viewing options from the editing options, but the third bar on the far right is pointless. The "Post" option should be on the edit bar or the view bar. Friends Page is already covered under friends, and invite is pointless. Perhaps it should go under the edit bar's friend's option.
Upload is just confusing, as I thought it ment uploading userpics. It also doesn't help new users, as most new users would start with a free account instead of a sponserder+ or a paid account. The upload option better fits with the edit bar's scrapbook.
After the third bar is gotten rid of, the navigation bar looks slightly less cluttered, but the upper viewing navigation bar still looks out of place.
I don't think the userpicture should be on the navigation bar. It just clutters it up.
I can go either way on the mini sitemap. On one hand I like that some of the options are right out in front like Support and FQA, but I'm not sure that it needs to go on the comment pages.
But anyway, I have to get back to writting thank you cards. All of them except one say the same thing, only some are warm and some... aren't. I was considering writting the extremely cold one on a McDonald's napkin, but decied it was just a little too mean. Even though that's what she sends all her notes in, because she's too cheep to buy paper.
