Actually, I was poking about fandom_wank, and I found I was morbidly curious about something: I'm sure that MST3K has had some wank on there, and I'm wondering what has been considered wankish that's been going on in the fandom recently, besides the two minor dustups on [livejournal.com profile] mst3k with someone bringing up Joel vs. Mike (!?) and someone made an alternate comuniity to that comunity, and some members ragged on her for it. And the other thing was that if anyones gone "the horror, the horror!' about mst3k slash there. I saw a tiny bit of it at Portal of Evil, but that was on "It Happened One Day on the SOL," and a lot of people are squicked by that.

On a realted note, Poppy Z. Bright has popped up on my radar twice in the last few minutes with people talking about her on both sides of the fence.

Thirdly, my sister has visting from Boston the last two days for my birthday. We've been working on my stuff for prom next saturday. And I'm on Central Daylight Saving Time now. So while we didn't change our clock, central leeped forward to us, we will next fall leap back.

Now, hopfully, that drama is all over with. Or until the state legisture decieds that DST sucks and drops it again, which they did in the 70s.

And I registered to vote on Friday. Uhm, Yay for civic responsiblity?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I registered to vote last week, and just in time too. . . today is voting for yet another referendum. . .

I'm voting yes, and thankfully my parents are too. I was gonna vote yes even if they were gonna vote no, but I was gonna tell them I voted no because the last time I disagreed with them on something like that my mom allegedly threatened to kick me out of the house. . . XD

Thanks!

I hope the referendum passes this time.

And my parent's would never kick me out for a political issues. If I disagreed with them they would simply have to kill me.

According to the news last time we checked, "Yes" was ahead by 14 votes, and there were 10 left to be counted. . . so even if those 10 all voted "No", the referendum would still pass by 4 votes. And I'm proud to say that one of those is mine :)
