I don't think there is any liablity issues, because the reason why the Juniors are watching National Treasure instead of anything remotely educational is that they couldn't get the chaperones for the trip.
I'm seriously thinking about bringing my lunch, because being doubled up in pain for a half hour isn't my idea of fun.
