Why You Should Call for a Stunt Tom Servo
Date: 2005-08-29 03:45 pm (UTC)"So he dubs his own part, but he has to have a stunt actor?" Mike asked.
"I think it's the same guy." Joel replied.
Crow, Mike, Joel, and Servo watched as Hamlet, played by Max Schell, drew first blood from his oppenet.
"It has to be a stunt actor. Unless Hamlet has the incredible ability to shrink during cut aways."
Joel turned to look at Tom. "What do you think?"
"Well, I think..."
Crow leaned out past Mike and Joel and made a fractic gesture.
"...I really haven't been paying attention." Servo finished.
"Crow?" Joel asked.
"Don't know. But I do know a way to settle this little dispute." Crow said.
"Watching the credits?" Mike said.
"No! Fighting it out on the bridge with foils!"
"I really don't think that's a good idea, Crow. Someone could get hurt." Joel said.
"Don't be silly, who get's hurt fencing."
Crow turns his attention back to the movie, wherein Laertes drops dead. The other three turn to look at Crow.
"Okay, who get's hurt while fenciing when the rapiers aren't poisioned?"
A little later, and with much pestering by the 'bots, Joel and Mike stood several paces apart on the bridge.
"I'm still not convinced we should do this." protested Joel. "And why excatly are we fighting with lightsabers again?"
"For some reason, we have loads of lightsabers, but no swords." Servo answered.
"And we'll never hear the end of it if we don't." Mike gave an experimental swish of the saber. "Besides, I've always wanted to try this."
"I'm not going to win, am I?" Joel said.
"Nope!" the 'bots and Mike chourused.
"Fine." Joel sighed. "Let's get this over with."
"Gentlemen, you may begin." Gypsy said and then quickly moved across the room. Which was a particualry good idea, because neither Mike nor Joel were good at swordplay. They were so intent on thier match they they weren't watching where they were going, and kept carving chunks out of the surrounding area.
Which included Tom Servo and Crow, of course.
"Uh, Crow?" Servo asked.
"Yeah?"
"Is that your hand, or mine?"
Crow move closer to the severed limb, this time minding the lightsabers. "I think this one is mine."
"Oh." Servo paused. "Then where's mine?"

Breakfast is the Most Important Meal of the Day
Date: 2005-08-30 04:54 pm (UTC)Cambot practicaly bounded out of his room, and went though the many corridors and air ducts that had provented Crow and Servo of ever finding his place, and into the comminsary. He nodded a good norning to Gypsy, who was eating her first meal of the day. he then promptly ran into Mike, who was trying to make his first cup of coffee of the day, and failing miserably since he hadn't had his first cup of coffee.
And so, like every other day Cambot pushed the right buttons, and added in Mike's daily nutertial requirements while Mike was too zoned out to notice. And made a extra cup for after Mike took sip and nearly spit it out.
When they had first started this little routine, Mike had actually spit the coffee out, and it had gone all over Cambot.
By the time Mike had settled down at the table, another country had come in. Crow was a little more of a morning person than Mike, but still wasn't all there yet, so Cambot was easily able to foce Crow's supplements on him. But the fact that Crow's stuff tasted good, and Mike's tasted like blue goo that had been colored brown, made this task much easier.
Crow looked like he was about to protest, but just took his vitiam and brekfast and went to join the others at the table after he muttered his good morning.
The Servo graced the room with his presence. No trickery was involved in giving his vitamin, which was good because Servo manajed to be more of a morning person than Cambot was, if that seemed possible. He gave a hug to Cambot beofre he took up his brekfast and joined the others at the table.
Cambot lurked the converstion at the table from the other side comminsary, prefering to watch the discousion of the day's plans than to take part of them.
One by one, the others got up from the table and left the room, until it was just Gypsy and Cambot left. She moved over to where Cambot was trying to re-program the food dispentior.
"Still trying to get it to work?" she asked.
He nodded and continued to tinker wit the dispencer's program. The two sat in silece for a little while, just enjoying each other's company for a little while. Because for deep space, things were rarely quiet and they could defintantly...
Somewhere in the ship Mike shouted, having sprung another one of Servo and Crow's pranks.
Gypsy shook her head, and said "I'm not quite sure whatt they were doing, except that it somehow involved three flyswaters, plastic wrap, and large amounts of glitter." She paused for a moment, then said "Maybe I should check that they didn't break anything. Comming?"
Flyswatters, plastic wrap and glitter? Cambot thought, this I have to see.
