For his mini-debate, he had on Sen. Richard Lugar (R) and Sen. Evan Byah (D). It sounds like a real debate until you realise that they're both Senators from Indiana, they both serve on the same committees, and they have really similar outlooks.

Okay, so it's not like he threw two fruitcakes at each other to be "fair and balenced." But still.

Anyone remember the BIG DRAMA in Indiana over us starting Daylights Savings Time?

Well, it's not over in Dubois County, since with the people here still raging over the issue of us being in either Central time zonre or the Easten Timezone, and with the death treats and the packed meeting halls... Is it possible for people in real life to fanwank?

Anyway, if this drama wasn't enough, I came across this article about Daylight Saving Time today when I found out that Reason has a website.

Mostly, it says that DST will be extended by a month next year. At least they aren't trying to spring two hours forward.

And some people might find this article interesting too, called Open The Boarders. Now if I could get people to realize that tougher boarder controls don't help keep terrorists out, because terrorists aren't stupid.
