Okay, let's play a game.

I have two charecters - a Mr. Joel Robinson and a Dr. Clayton Forrester - that are currently sitting in my head. They're *apparently* from a post-apycoloptic universe, but they could just never leave Deep 13. The two of them are somewhat friendly towards each other, in a teasing sort of fashion, but they aren't sleeping with one another. Dr. E is alive in their universe, but they've never meet Frank or Mike, and I think Joel hasn't created any of the 'bots, though he might have built Cambot.

The problem is, that while they're decent houseguests, I don't think they're my charecters. At all.

So, anyone missing a Joel and a Dr. F? Because, uh, while they're nice and all, my brain can only hold so many alternate universes at a time. A great deal of it is being eaten by the Portal/MST3K maddness (It has A PLOT now, but it's plot looks a wee bit too much like liz_marcs's Living History. But since I'm using The Invisible Lady (who I am not calling Jessica Alba or Susan Storm) and dealing with The Final One and all that prophesey things, there's not much I can do about "people from the future come to the present" cliche.

So, between the Portal/MST3K monstrosty and the other writting projects, I have little room for charecters who I'm not convinced they're mine. Do they sound familar to anyone? At all?

Have you tried checking with the people next door? They might've wandered over from there.

Are you sure you haven't lost any mad scientists or a janitor/lab rat/hot fish shop manager? 'Cause if you look at them sideways, they could totaly fit in '70s Battlestar Galatica.

I've checked the neighbors, and they haven't lost any charecters. But the people next door are giving me looks for asking if they had any insence on hand from the last time I had to excerise something from my head. Or that could have been the massive fireball when Dougal lite all the incense at once.

It's not my AU!Joel. He's met Mike and has a complete bot collection.

If no one claims them, do you have to put them down?

I have tried looking for their owner, since I don't like borrowing other fanficers plots and charecters.

So either their mine, or they're from a fanficcer from an alternate universe, because no one has claimed them yet.

*whimpers* But they don't have a plot. They're just sitting there and being generally helpful. Like fixing doors and grammer.

And I don't have any spare plot lines that involve post-apycoyplses, except for The Later Years of the Twentith Century, and that is a no Dr. Clayton Forrester zone because it's a War of the Worlds crossover.

Hence the massive search for their Writer.

Nope, not mine. My canon!Joel and Dr. F are strictly canonish (IE, one's alive, one's dead), the regular IP&S Joel and Clay are with their writer/mun, Karen, and the AU!Joel is with Rach, while AU!Clay is mine.

If you don't find them homes, you may have to do an 'Old Yeller' on 'em.

I finally found out whose they were. They evidently are mine - they're a combination of an old, old plot for a MST3K/Day After Tomorrow crossover and a senario from a SGI episode which I refused to ponder, because talking of 'bot rights is the way to madness. So they just enacted revenge and they won't go away. *sigh*
