There are things I do not expect to hear in the morning. Someone shooting off 30 rounds is one of them.

Though unexpected, not shocking. Nor illegal, probably. We don't live left of nowhere, but across the street there's another row of houses and then forest for a good couple of miles until you hit the train tracks. There's also a gigantic hill, so it could have been echoing from even farther away.

Just, you know, something you don't expect while eating your waffles in the morning.

You also wouldn't expect to get shot at while driving, but it does occasionally happen. Luckily, they were only shooting stupid little BB's (not even real BB's; I would have been really pissed instead of just pissed then), and even though my window was open I didn't get hit, but I was still ready to hunt those kids down and prevent them from having kids of their own.

Hopefully then I'll be wearing real shoes and pants instead of flip-flops and a skirt so I can actually chase them through the woods XD
