I finaly figured out half my difficulty in Spanish:
I should read the practice questions, so I can start glueing my ideas together in the English before writting them in Spanish.
I think that really says it all, don't you?
...
And I'm skipping fencing, as it's cold, rainy, and I have to go to the theatre in a half an hour for a fire dril. Upshot? There is free food after the fire drill. And yes, I did get to sign up for ushering. Guess whos seeing The Producers at least four times for free? (Okay, so *free* after I buy a pair of black shoes.)
*drums fingers* I wonder how Mom's surgery went?

I really like Introduction to Infomatics. We're just doing base systems, and learning basic logic and how a turning machine works, but its good. Plus it's vocabulary building, as if he uses a $5 word, and if three people don't know it, the word goes on a test. So, chagrined is one easy point. Cuthonic was a little harder. = )
Math is dull. I learned all this crap in Pre-Calc, and he does it in crazy stupid ways.
Spanish is again stuff I already learned, but either forgot or didn't learn properly the first time, so it's kinda dull and boring. We have to write things in Spanish, so I keep wantin to write things that are above my current Spanish vocabulary, so it's a little fustraing too.
Lingustics is okay. It's a diffrent class than I thought it was, so instead of doing the social aspects of langage it's the scientific parts, but that's fine. I understand what's going on and we tried out trying to voice sounds that don't exist in the English language, but sorta do to loan words like tsar.
Ethics is kinda odd though. On one hand it's a good, thinking class. The other is that I want to beat down both Plato and whoever translated him, as the arguments are occasionaly as weak as hell and the translater decied that the diaougle didn't need quotation marks.
I like fencing a lot, so I don't have any problem. Okay, so I like fighting - hitting them and not letting them hit me - than some of the more... refined? Less dualistic more sporting ways. Like in foil, you can duck and let them hit your mask but I keep thinkig "OMG! They just ran a sword though your head!", sort of thing
